A gala evening in honor of M. Petipa is planned at the end of September in Paris at the UNESCO Congress Hall. Gala concert “Young Stars of the World Ballet” with the participation of winners of international ballet competitions of many countries of the world, an exhibition on the life and work of an outstanding choreographer and an international round table on conservation

authenticity of M. Petipa’s heritage, as well as current trends in the further development of classical dance, will be held as a unique cultural action.

From April 11 to April 22, 2018 in Perm, on the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after P. Tchaikovsky, THE XV OPEN RUSSIAN COMPETITION OF BALLET DANCERS “ARABESQUE” will take place.

INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF BALLET COMPETITIONS BETWEEN FEBRUARY 19-26 TOGETHER GIVES A SERIES OF GALA CONCERTS OF LAUREATES OF THE XIII INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF BALLET ARTISTS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS IN THE CITIES OF GERMANY, Berlin, Karls-bourg, Berlin. IFBC programs aim to popularize the names of laureates of ballet contests that are part of the Federation.

On July 1 and 2 in the framework of Seoul International ballet competition in South Korea the 2ND SESSION OF THE 10TH IFBC ASSEMBLY WAS HELD.

The plenary meetings held on July 1 and 2 as a continuation of the Xth General Assembly in Seoul, were attended by: Moscow International ballet competition, heads of International ballet competitions in Alma-Ata, Sochi, Riga, Singapore, Israel, Tokyo, Kiev, Istanbul, Seoul , Ulan Bator; representatives of the production company Asia Ballet; Director and Artistic Director of the Kremlin Ballet Company Petrov Andrey, Head of the Warsaw Ballet School Iolanta Rybarska, teacher of the Berlin Ballet School Marek Rozyski, professor of the Beijing Academy of Dance Xiao Suhua; General Director of IFBC Usanov Sergey., Head of the Information Department of IFAC – Editor-in-Chief of Ballet Magazine Uralskaya Valeria, Executive Secretary – Shiryaeva Eketrina.
Arrival at the Assembly in Moscow on June 17, departure from Moscow on June 21. In connection with the 10th anniversary of the Korean Ballet Competition in Seoul, a special extraordinary Session of the International Federation of Ballet Competitions will be held from June 29-30
