International Youth Ballet Competition “Crystal Shoe” is considered one of the best youth festivals of classical dance. Every year it attracts a great amount of  participants and spectators. Classical Dance Competition “Crystal Shoe” was created in 1995.

The  Chairman of the jury remains unchanged since the beginning  of the competition  –  “Etoile” of the Ukrainian ballet stage, artistic director of Kharkov Opera and Ballet theatre n/a Lysenko, People’s Artist of Ukraine S.I. Kolyvanova. In the jury of I-VII contests  of “Crystal Shoe” were well-known figures of ballet Morihiro Iwata, Ou Jian Ping, Nina Sorokina, Galina Shlyapina, Igor Chernyshev (Russia), Jana Gladkyh  and many other prominent artists. Many of the winners of the “Crystal Shoes”  are now ballet soloists at different theaters in Ukraine and the world. Among the winners of the contest – the stars of world ballet.
