Conditions of the Competition
The International Ballet Competition has been held since 1969 every four years at the Bolshoi Theater of the Russian Federation.
The XIV International Ballet Competition is celebrating the 95th anniversary of Yuri Grigorovich.

The dates of the XIV International Ballet Competition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) are determined by the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee ensures the solution of issues of interdepartmental interaction, approves the list and Regulations for the jury panel, criteria for evaluating the performances of the contestants, the competition program, the Regulations of the Competition directorate, coordinates the possible establishment of special and additional prizes.
The preparation, arrangement and management of the Competition is supervised by the competition directorate established by the Russian Ministry of Culture that is acting upon the Regulations on the competition directorate approved by the organizing committee.
The functions of the Competition Directorate are performed by The Federal Directorate of Performing Arts “ROSCONCERT”.
The jury of the competition is formed of leading Russian and foreign figures in the field of choreographic art, soloists of the Russian and world ballet, heads of the world’s largest theater companies, authoritative choreographers, teachers, theater critics, prominent figures in choreography, producers.
Artistic Director of the Competition is Yuri Grigorovich, the choreographer of the Bolshoi Theater.
